K09: @darcyfan99: Normally Bed is either nonverbal, or speaks only in a non-English language while still being able to fully understand English.

Still, how does one understand English while not being able to speak it?

K09: @darcyfan99: Being taught the meaning of words without ever being shown how to speak them. Like, as an example, having someone teach you the meanings and speech structure of another language without ever actually having you practice speaking the languag itself. You could read the language and understand what someone is saying when they speak it, but you yourself can't speak it or write it.
